About

Olivier ZAHM is an expert in model order reduction, inverse problems and, more generally, in uncertainty quantification. He works with statisticians, numerical analysts and oceanographers to develop certified computer models used in oceanography and data assimilation algorithms that can systematically integrate observations into developed models to provide better predictions and to support decision making. After completing a PhD from École Centrale Nantes in 2015, Olivier ZAHM was a Postdoctoral Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA from 2015 to 2018 in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Since 2018, he holds a tenured position at Inria as a Research Scientist.
