Pranay Kumar Sivolla

About

Pranay Kumar Sivolla, is from Hyderabad, in India. His academic journey began with a bachelor’s of Tech in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from RGUKT Basar, followed by a master’s of Tech in Nanoscience and Technology from the University of Hyderabad. His commitment to academic rigor earned him the prestigious AICTE GATE fellowship, an opportunity that allowed him to explore the fascinating world of high-entropy alloys, high-temperature materials, and biomedical alloys.

As a Junior Research Fellow at ARCI Hyderabad and IIT Hyderabad, Pranay dived deeply into research, working on High Entropy Alloys(HEA), Multi principle Element Alloys(MPEA), High Entropy Carbides(HEC), and Na-ion Batteries. His work contributed to advancing materials science, focusing on innovation and the next generation of materials for cutting-edge technologies.

Pranay’s curiosity goes beyond the laboratory. He has actively engaged in community service and participating in scientific outreach initiatives designed to foster knowledge and societal well-being.

With a strong knowledge foundation in materials science, a keen research mind, and enthusiasm for life beyond academia, Pranay is on a path to make meaningful contributions to the global scientific community.

Interests

Pranay’s research interests are related to High Entropy Alloys, High Temperature Materials, Biomedical Alloys, and Additive Manufacturing.

Outside of his professional duties, he finds joy in photography, capturing the world’s beauty, exploring new destinations, and immersing himself in music…broadening his understanding of the world.
