Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique - CEMHTI

About

The objective of this laboratory is to understand the physical and chemical properties of materials under extreme conditions, from a better description of their structures at the atomic scale, in the solid and molten state. It develops expertise and original tools at the international level for in situ analyses:
– High resolution and high temperature spectroscopies (up to 2700°C), – Non-contact aerodynamic levitation for molten media
– Particle accelerators and defect analysis. These unique experimental facilities are available to the national and international community in the Infranalytics NMR and EMIR&A platforms. The CEMHTI is also involved in the development of new materials:
– Transparent and Refractory (Glass) Ceramics
– Nanoporous for Energy and the Environment. The laboratory develops local, national and international academic and industrial partnerships, supported by contracts, regional, ANR and European programmes. It is currently involved in a joint laboratory with Saint-Gobain, CANOPEE, on sustainable materials for energy.

Working conditions for the recruited researchers

CNRS offers a 36-months full-time work contract (with the option to extend up to a maximum of 42 months), with a total working hours per week at 38,5 hours.
