AUFRANDE is coordinated by RMIT Europe, the European hub of RMIT University, a global university of technology, design and enterprise with campuses in Australia and Vietnam. Based in Spain, RMIT Europe is the university’s gateway for European research, industry, government and enterprise to innovation and talent in Australia and Asia.
What is AUFRANDE?
AUFRANDE is a highly ambitious interdisciplinary doctoral program, bringing together universities, research institutes and non-academic institutions worldwide. Its mission is to recruit and train a cohort of 64 highly qualified doctoral researchers equipped with solid academic training covering research, technical and transferable skills.
AUFRANDE aims to build a sustainable research community, by creating a critical mass of collaborative doctoral training agreements between multiple institutions across France and Australia, and facilitating regular in person and virtual networking opportunities.
AUFRANDE researchers will benefit from high standards and excellent working conditions including international experience, access to research discipline experts and top-level training, as well as close interactions with academic and industry leaders across the world, enhancing their career potential and employability.
AUFRANDE is co-funded by the European Union and committed to the MSCA’s best practices for providing sustainable training and international, interdisciplinary and inter-sectoral mobility.
