About
Arathy Dileep completed her master’s in Physics at the Vellore Institute of Technology, India, where she focused on synthesising and characterising ZnO nanorods for biosensing applications. Following her graduation, she joined as a project associate at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, working on lasers, optical cavities and FBG sensors, and later as a research assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology Palakkad, specializing in the single crystal growth of transition metal dichalcogenides. Outside the lab, she enjoys dancing and travelling.
Her research focuses on developing rare earth-doped microstructures for integrated photonics using pulsed laser deposition.
Interests
Outside of academic duties, in her free time Arathy enjoys dancing and travelling to discover new places.
