About

Hamidreza Mohammadpour is a PhD Candidate working on the Impact of urban PV systems on atmospheric flows and heat island effect. His project investigates the interaction between the atmospheric boundary layer usually modeled as a logarithmic velocity profile and building integrated PV power systems. His research interests are in Fluid Mechanics, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Heat Transfer and Thermoelectric.
Hamidreza holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with focus on Energy Conversion from University of Zanjan. In his master dissertation he worked on Optimization of Energy Harvested by Thermoelectric Systems from Stepped Micro-Combustor.
