Itisha belongs to Uttar Pradesh, a state in northern part of India. She qualified for the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) exam, and completed her Master’s degree in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jodhpur. During her studies, she worked on Exceptional Points in Coupled Waveguides as research project, where she has explored the unique properties of non-Hermitian systems and their potential applications in optical devices.

Her research experience includes working with optical fibers and planer waveguides. Additionally, she has a strong interest in computational physics, particularly in numerical methods and simulations, which have been valuable in her master’s studies and projects.

Beyond academics and research, Itisha likes art and enjoy painting and sketching, which allow her explore different perspectives. She also have a keen interest in reading biographies, particularly those of inspiring individuals who have made significant contributions in their fields.
