About
Taha is from Morocco and holds an engineering degree in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. Passionate about the intersection of immersive technologies and human-robot interaction, he is now pursuing a PhD on Cross-Reality in Interactive Robotics using AR/VR at ENIB in France, and UniSA in Australia. His research focuses on how augmented and virtual reality can enhance human-robot collaboration and improve interaction dynamics in mixed-reality environments.
His academic journey has taken him across the globe, including a final-year project internship in Australia at the CROSSING Lab, where he explored the impact of AR weather customization on trust in autonomous vehicles. His work combined technical AR implementation with human-centered research methodologies.
Beyond his research, Taha is actively involved in the academic community and will be volunteering as a student volunteer at IEEE VR 2025, one of the leading conferences in virtual and augmented reality. He is also a firm believer in leveraging AI to automate repetitive tasks, constantly seeking ways to enhance efficiency through intelligent systems.
With his strong technical background and passion for innovation, Taha aims to contribute to the evolution of human-robot interaction through AR and VR.
