Dr. Antoine Runge

Antoine Runge obtained the BSc. and MSc. degrees in Physics from the Université de Franche-Comté, (France) in 2009 and 2011, respectively, and the PhD degree from the University of Auckland (New Zealand) in 2015.

After a postdoc at the Optoelectronics Research Centre at University of Southampton (United Kingdom), he joined the the Institute of Photonics and Optical Science, University of Sydney (Australia), where is a Senior Research Fellow. He was awarded an Australian Research Council DECRA Fellowship in 2022, for his work on novel optical solitons. His research is currently focused on optical solitons for use in nonlinear photonic applications.
