Dr. Bloen Metzger

Bloen Metzger is CNRS Researcher at IUSTI laboratory in Marseille. After his doctorate graduation in 2006, and a post-doc at the Benjamin Levich Institute in New York, he was hired at CNRS in 2007. Since then, he has been investigating the micro-hydrodynamics and the rheology of granular and shear thickening suspensions with the aim of elucidating which minimal model can describe these systems. He has co-authored more than 40 publications in major international peer reviewed journals (PNAS, PRX, Phys. Rev. Letters, J. of Fluid Mech.,…) and has developed a strong international collaboration network with New-York University, University of Florida, Benjamin Levich Institute in USA and University of Sydney in Australia.
