About

Rey Chin received his PhD in Engineering at the University of Melbourne, Australia. His PhD thesis was awarded the Dr John Patterson Prize for best thesis in the field of thermo-fluids. His research interests are centred on fundamental wall-bounded turbulence, conducted using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and experiments. With an in-depth understanding of turbulence modelling, he is currently applying it to practical aerospace engineering applications. He worked as a postdoc researcher at University of Melbourne, Australia before moving to the University of Adelaide, Australia to take up an academic position. He supervises a team of three postdoc and 6 PhD students. More information can be found on his website: https://researchers.adelaide.edu.au/profile/rey.chin
