Stefan Enoch
About
Stefan Enoch obtained his Ph.D. degree in 1997. He is currently Senior Researcher with the CNRS and Deputy Vice President for Sciences and Technologies of Aix-Marseille Université.
His research involves the theory, modelling and engineering of the interaction between waves and their environment. Though his main contributions are in optics and in microwaves, he has also made significant contributions to mechanical waves in solids. He has published about 150 research articles in top ranked journals, and he has given more than 40 invited and plenary presentations. His publications have been cited over 11900 times and his h-index is 48.
He is member of the editorial board of the Journal of Modern Optics and has been Associate Editor of Optics Express from 2004 to 2012. He received the Bronze Medal of the CNRS in 2006 and Aix-Marseille Innovation Award in 2019. He has been elected Fellow of the European Academy of Sciences in 2019 and Fellow Member of the Optical Society of America in 2020. web site : www.fresnel.fr
