Université de Lorraine (UL) is one of the largest multidisciplinary universities in France. Our vision is to be a leading European public university recognised for our global impact. It is composed of more than 3,900 teaching and research faculty and approximately 60,000 students, including nearly 10,000 foreign students. Its location in the heart of Europe, with borders on three European member states (Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg) offers to UL a privileged position for strong international partnerships. The scientific activity of the Université de Lorraine is organized in 60 research laboratories located in 10 scientific centers and 6 research federations covering a wide range of disciplinary fields and topics. the university houses several technology platforms including large-scale facilities and large measurement instruments, providing research teams with the most efficient equipment. The Université de Lorraine has also been attributed by the French Prime Minister, early 2016, the label of excellence “I-SITE”. With this label, the university is recognised for its capacity to develop strong cooperation with the industrial partners, to implement innovative actions of joint research, of entrepreneurship development and of vocational, initial and continuing training.

The ERPI (Research team on innovation process) is one of the University of Lorraine research labs. ERPI is a research team on Industrial Engineering specialized on the research of innovation processes management. Its activities concerns the methods, tools and knowledges allowing to optimise innovation projects management.

Working conditions for the recruited researchers

Université de Lorraine offers a 36-months full-time work contract (with the option to extend up to a maximum of 42 months). The researcher has a trial period of two months. The working time is fixed at 7 hours per day, 35 hours per week.

Conditions for PhD enrolment

Applicants must hold a national Master’s degree or another qualification conferring the status of Master (5 years of higher education).
